Specialising in recruiting white-collar professionals in the Australian property and construction markets.
My Path:
After 15 years in sales (and a couple of side-quests that earned me qualifications in Fine Arts and Teaching), I blindly followed a stranger’s advice and took a role in recruitment. Luckily, the stranger was on to something. I quickly found I had a real knack for the industry. A career that had been entirely focused on becoming a bona fide people expert had (unsurprisingly) set me up for success as a recruiter.
I initially recruited quite broadly before focussing on more technical and specialised positions. This wide-ranging experience helped me establish some universal truisms and offered insights into the interconnectedness of all professions.
My Passions:
I thrive on pursuing win/win results. Everything I have achieved in business has come from optimising client experience and outcomes. To paraphrase Zig Ziglar, I believe you can have everything you want in life, if you just help enough people get what they want.
My Specialty:
I specialise in recruiting white-collar professionals in the Australian property and construction markets.
My Value:
Recruitment is half art and half science. I bring a level of instinct that only comes from doing your ‘10,000 hours’. This intuition is underpinned by a rigorous, uncompromising vetting process, and a drive to leave no stone unturned.
I see things others don’t see and find people others won’t. My job is to help my clients win more, and the most powerful way I can do this is by delivering staff that represent the best talent and fit in the market.
…and also this:
I’m a pretty handy artist and still knock out the odd drawing or painting now and then.
I am capable in the kitchen and like to think I’m a capable cook.
I’ve dabbled in martial arts on and off over the last 20 years. I’m not great, but I’ve shared the mats with some famous fighters.
